Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Senior Director of AI Security to establish and mature the enterprise AI Security program.

Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, this role defines the strategy to secure AI technologies while enabling responsible innovation across the company. The leader will govern risk management, secure development, regulatory compliance, and operational oversight for AI technologies, partnering with executives and business leaders to implement security across

Qualifications

• 10+ years in progressive cybersecurity leadership.
• 3+ years designing, implementing and securing AI/ML.
• 2+ years cloud security configuration & management (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• 2+ years in application security with emphasis on AI/ML.
• 5+ years leading security architecture or engineering.
• CISSP required upon hire.
• CSSLP preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of NIST CSF, RMF, and ISO 27001.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise AI Security strategy, governance, and multi-year roadmap.
• Establish AI security standards, policies, and secure development requirements.
• Lead AI security risk management, model governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Build and lead the AI Security organization, including hiring and budgeting.
• Partner with tech, legal, privacy, procurement, and business leaders to enable secure AI adoption.
• Oversee AI security reviews, design approvals, and security assessments.
• Monitor emerging AI threats and regulatory developments and adjust strategy.
