Intuit, Inc. is seeking a Staff AI Scientist to join the AI team. You will build and deploy machine learning models using analytical algorithms and deep learning, directly impacting hundreds of thousands of customers.

You will lead a scrum team, collaborate with product managers and engineers, perform hands-on data analysis, and explore new ML technologies to advance Intuit's AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industry experience in AI science.
• BS, MS or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Operations Research, or equivalent.
• 4+ years of hands-on expertise in ML paradigms such as Causal-ML, supervised/unsupervised, Online, Bayesian, Reinforcement or Deep Learning.
• Proficient in multiple optimization paradigms such as combinatorial optimization, gradient methods, or Bayesian optimization.
• Proficient in NLP techniques, Explainable AI, and ML frameworks.
• Expertise in modern analytical tools and programming languages (Python, Scala, Java, R).
• SQL, Hive, SparkSQL, Linux; building end-to-end reusable pipelines.

Responsabilités

• Leads and evangelizes AI science across the organization.
• Collaborates with product managers, software engineers, and designers to define success metrics and MVPs.
• Leads a scrum team’s technical work and ensures high-quality code, architecture, and implementation standards.
• Performs hands-on data analysis, data acquisition, cleaning, and feature design.
• Applies NLP and ML techniques to real-world problems and runs experiments (A/B testing).
• Communicates results to peers and leadership; ensures delivery and integration of DS solutions.
• Stays current with new ML technologies and potential applications for customers.
