Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Senior Staff AI Scientist to join the AI team. The role involves building and deploying ML models using both analytical and deep learning approaches, and leading a scrum team through end-to-end architecture and delivery.

You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to define experiments and align model metrics with business goals. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in AI, strong ML and NLP expertise, and a proven ability to work in fast-paced

Qualifications

• 6+ years of industry experience in AI science.
• 4+ years hands-on in ML paradigms such as Causal-ML, supervised/unsupervised, Online, Bayesian, Reinforcement or Deep Learning.
• Proficient in optimization paradigms (combinatorial, gradient, Bayesian).
• Proficient in NLP techniques, Explainable AI, and ML frameworks.
• Strong in Python, Scala, Java and/or R; SQL, Hive, SparkSQL; Linux environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evangelize AI science across the organization.
• Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and designers on experiments and MVPs.
• Lead end-to-end architecture designs and ensure high-quality code and standards.
• Perform data analysis and modeling on large datasets; handle ETL and feature engineering.
• Apply NLP and ML techniques to real-world problems and datasets.
• Run A/B tests and communicate results to peers and leaders.
• Engage with partners to ensure successful delivery and integration of DS solutions.
• Explore new ML technologies and stay current with academia and industry.
