Intuit seeks a Manager 2, AI Science to join the AI team in San Diego. You will lead AI scientists, mentor staff, and deploy ML models that influence hundreds of thousands of customers. The role blends analytical algorithms and deep learning to drive new business opportunities.

The position emphasizes technical leadership, collaboration across teams, and hands-on involvement in developing scalable AI solutions that power Intuit's consumer and small business products.

Qualificações

• BS, MS, or PhD in an appropriate technology field (Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Econometrics, Operations Research, Physics, etc.)
• 2+ years experience as an established technical leader/Manager of AI science teams that have delivered data-driven software products.
• Innovative and disruptive technology leader solving long term strategic outcomes
• Expert command of AI and machine learning, statistical modeling, state-of-the-art tools, and engineering best practices
• Experience in leading teams with data mining algorithms and statistical modeling techniques (clustering, classification, regression, decision trees, neural nets, SVMs, genetic algorithms, anomaly detection, recommender systems, NLP)
• Attention to detail and ability to convert complex data into insights and action plans
• Strategic thinker, flexible problem solver, good listener and team oriented
• Ability to communicate a vision and inspire innovation
• Passion for applying ML to real customer problems at large scale

Responsabilidades

• Lead and create a team of AI scientists
• Mentor and hire AI scientists in the valley
• Apply AI/ML techniques to solve complex questions or fuel new business opportunities
• Deliver breakthroughs to Intuit users across small business & consumer products using data
• Provide leadership in engineering, AI science and analytics in product development
• Provide technical leadership across teams to guide strategy
• Inspire AI innovations to fuel Intuit's growth
• Teach methods for working with diverse data at scale and build data-driven insights
• Guide business stakeholders in interpreting findings and leveraging insights
