Intuit, Inc. is seeking an experienced AI scientist and ML engineer to build and deploy machine learning models affecting hundreds of thousands of customers. You will lead teams, drive architecture decisions, and shape multi-year AI and ML strategy on core platforms.

The role requires a PhD or MS in a related field, strong programming and data manipulation skills, and a track record of influencing executive stakeholders. Competitive compensation includes bonus and equity.

Qualifications

• PhD/MS in Engineering Mathematics, Statistics, Theoretical/Computational Physics, or related field.
• Solid knowledge of statistical techniques.
• 6+ years’ experience manipulating large datasets and using databases (R, SQL, S-Plus, etc.).
• 6+ years’ experience with a general-purpose programming language (Python, Scala, etc.).
• Expert knowledge of ML pipelines, processes, and design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Leads teams and evangelizes AI science across the organization.
• Delivers ML, NLP, statistics, or optimization projects with hands-on leadership.
• Shapes ROI considerations and creates capabilities that solve business problems.
• Drives ML platform architecture and long-term technological strategy.
