Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a seasoned AI scientist and ML engineer to build and deploy AI that directly impacts millions of customers. You will own end-to-end AI initiatives, architect data-driven systems, and drive research into product experiences.

Collaborate with Product, Analytics, and Design to deliver scalable solutions, monitor performance, and ensure robust evaluation. This is a hands-on, collaborative role with opportunities to publish and transfer innovations to product teams.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Operations Research, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of industry AI/data science experience.
• 7+ years hands-on expertise in ML paradigms (Causal-ML, supervised/unsupervised, Online, Bayesian, Reinforcement, Deep Learning).
• Proficient in Python, Scala, Java, and/or R; proficient in SQL/Hive/SparkSQL; comfortable in Linux.
• Experience building end-to-end reusable pipelines from data acquisition to model output delivery; strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Stay current with the field and recommend novel techniques that improve product metrics.
• Lead creation of reusable data and feature assets; set data-quality standards.
• Craft robust evaluation strategies, including adversarial and edge-case coverage.
• Design AI-first and agentic systems; architect multi-stage agent pipelines and reusable AI infrastructure.
• Lead multi-component research problems and set methodological standards.
