Job summary

Accenture is seeking a seasoned Category 1 Sales Capture Lead to originate and own high-value opportunities in cloud data solutions and AI platforms. You will engage C-suite executives, shape pursuit strategy, and collaborate with ecosystem partners to craft differentiated value propositions.

You will manage a $32M+ annual target, drive complex, multi-party deals, and coordinate with account and delivery teams to ensure successful post-close outcomes. Travel 25–75% as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience selling cloud-based data solutions, AI/ML platforms, or related technology services.
• Minimum 5 years of experience selling into Financial Services, Communications/Media/Technology, Products, Public Sector, Health & Life Sciences, or Resources.
• Demonstrated ability to carry and close against a quota of $20M+ annually.
• Minimum 5 years of sales pursuit management experience across the full sales cycle.
• Experience co-selling with at least one major ecosystem partner (Palantir, AWS, Microsoft, Databricks, or equivalent).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.

Responsibilities

• Originate, qualify, and drive net-new sales opportunities across assigned industry accounts, with accountability for a $32M+ annual sales target.
• Develop compelling value propositions that address complex client business challenges, leveraging AI, GenAI, and agentic solutions powered by Accenture's ecosystem partners.
• Engage senior management at client organizations, define pursuit strategy, shape commercial frameworks, and develop the opportunity narrative.
• Mobilize ecosystem partners such as Palantir, AWS, and Databricks to structure larger, outcome-oriented deals.
• Partner with account teams and delivery leaders to ensure smooth post-close transition and strong client outcomes.
• Travel required: 25–75% depending on portfolio and client needs.
