Job summary

Rockland Community College is seeking a Project Director for the Title III PROJECT AIM grant. You will lead the AI-literacy framework, oversee the grant budget and personnel, and collaborate with multiple college divisions and external partners to advance AI-enabled teaching, learning, and student success.

The role requires strategic leadership, project management, and strong coordination across academics, student services, and IT to ensure compliance and timely delivery of grant objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years of full-time experience in higher education.
• Experience with technology-enabled initiatives supporting student success and analytics.
• Experience with project management, budget oversight, staff supervision, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong interpersonal, written, oral, organizational, technology, and data-interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project AIM implementation with goals, activities, timelines, deliverables, and outcomes.
• Monitor milestones, expenditures, and progress; address barriers as needed.
• Coordinate divisions, consultants, vendors, and partners to align with the grant.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, SUNY, and College requirements; support sustainability.
• Serve as the College's institutional AI lead and coordinate responsible AI adoption.
• Oversee student-success technology, analytics, and advising tools.
• Recruit, hire, supervise, evaluate, and support grant-funded personnel.
• Budget, procurement, and reporting activities for Project AIM.
