Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a senior IC to drive Enterprise AI initiatives across HR Operations, shaping what engineers build and how success is measured. You will identify, size, and prioritize opportunities that matter at GSK, collaborating with forward deployed teams to ensure scalable impact while protecting employee experience.

The role emphasizes prototyping, value-based decision making, and close partnership with CHRO-level leaders to translate HR transformation priorities into funded AI

Qualifications

• 15+ years across pharma/AI product strategy and product management or strategy roles in tech-led orgs.
• Proven track record from problem framing to funded delivery of AI initiatives.
• Hands-on in HR Operations domains: onboarding, data management, service delivery, payroll inputs, leave/absence, offboarding.
• Hands-on with modern AI/ML concepts (LLMs, agentic systems, digital workers) demonstrated via prototyping.
• Experience operating as an IC with influence over engineering and business teams through frameworks and criteria.
• Background in product management/strategy including opportunity sizing, roadmaps, prototyping, stakeholder alignment.
• Familiarity with HR tech data landscape (Workday, SAP, etc.) and data ownership issues.

Responsibilities

• Hunt for high-value AI opportunities across the hire-to-retire lifecycle and develop a global portfolio ranked by impact and feasibility.
• Quantify value with business cases for finance and exec sponsors (cost-to-serve, SLAs, cycle time, deflection, employee experience).
• Develop domain pattern recognition in HR Operations workflows to spot AI-shaped problems.
• Own the Enterprise AI opportunity portfolio with living view of in-flight and de-prioritized opportunities.
