Sierra is hiring in San Francisco for a role shaping AI-powered products. You will design and ship full-stack solutions, grounding agent answers with knowledge bases and building scalable evaluation and simulation tools.

Qualifications

4+ years hands-on experience building production products and systems.
Experience and comfort building and ship full-stack solutions.
Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience building AI-powered products and leadership on technical projects or teams.

Responsibilities

Architect agent framework: steerable, verifiable, conversational and empathetic.
Ground answers with customer knowledge base and contextual retrieval.
Design evaluation methods to measure agent quality and improvements.
Ensure voice interactions work over phone with low latency.
Build a simulation and benchmarking platform to test AI agents across scenarios.
Develop no-code tools for guiding and testing AI agents.
Advance AI agent development lifecycle (ADLC) and leverage generative tools like Cursor/Claude Code.
