Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a Staff Analyst, AI to partner with AI product teams. You will measure product performance, design experiments, and apply causal methods to quantify impact on retention, clinical and operational outcomes.

You will translate business questions into rigorous metrics, collaborate with ML/Engineering and Finance, and create scalable analytics solutions using Python/R and SQL while delivering dashboards for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in analytics or data science
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
• 5+ years designing and analyzing A/B tests, preferably on AI/ML products
• Experience partnering with ML teams to translate outputs into metrics
• Extensive experience with dbt pipelines and modern data stack

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic analytics partnership to AI product teams
• Lead experimentation strategy for AI product launches
• Apply causal inference methods for AI impact assessment
• Define and own metrics frameworks for AI use cases
• Partner with ML teams to evaluate model performance and translate signals into metrics
• Own commercial impact analysis for AI products and quantify retention/churn impact
• Work with Data/Analytics Engineering to ensure data integrity across pipelines
• Develop scalable analytics solutions using Python/R and SQL
• Design Looker dashboards for cross-functional self-service access
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to answer strategic product questions
