Job summary

SailPoint is seeking a Software Engineering Manager for its All SaaS Performance and Quality Frameworks portfolio. You will lead teams responsible for performance engineering and reusable functional testing frameworks, guiding AI-powered tooling adoption and ensuring scalable, reliable product validation.

You will own strategy, collaboration across many functions, and a roadmap for framework expansion, with a focus on AI-driven improvements and self-service enablement for product teams.

Qualifications

• US citizen per FedRAMP standards.
• 2+ years in an engineering leadership role.
• 8+ years hands-on as a performance or software engineer.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to architect and expand shared testing frameworks.
• Ability to pursue, measure, and optimize AI tooling usage.
• Strong collaboration with external teams to promote self-service and adoption of frameworks.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools to write, debug, and optimize code.
• Ability to select appropriate AI models to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Passion for high-performance SaaS and reliable testing infra.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, roadmap, reliability, and self-service testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with product, design, architecture, QA, DevOps, and engineering teams.
• Drive AI-powered test creation, execution, and analysis to optimize load and performance testing.
• Lead a team to expand framework adoption, documentation, and support.
• Set priorities and roadmaps for long-term framework scalability and quality.
