Job summary

Discord is seeking a hands-on Strategy & Operations leader to build and scale our ad sales operations. You will stand up pipeline, health metrics, quota setting, bottoms-up planning, and revenue forecasting from scratch, collaborating with sales leadership and executives.

You’ll drive zero-to-one projects, creating systems and tooling with AI, automating workflows, and acting as a force multiplier across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. This is an IC role, not a manager track.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of hands on experience in strategy and ops or sales ops at a fast growth company or in management consulting; builder role
• Executive presence and ability to present to cross-functional partners and C-level executives
• Proven track record of developing analyses that yield actionable insights and executive level recommendations
• Proven hands-on AI adoption in day-to-day work with AI-enabled workflows and automation
• No-ego, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality thriving in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce and proficiency in analytics tools

Responsibilities

• Own revenue forecasting and pipeline management; provide leadership with insights on growth, risks, and opportunities
• Instrument and define pipeline and business health metrics; build analytics infrastructure
• Lead strategic assessments for new opportunities, including market expansion and GTM optimization
• Partner with sales leadership on territory design, segmentation, and coverage models
• Lead annual and quarterly goal setting; ensure data-driven targets
• Analyze sales cycle trends and conversion rates to surface actionable insights
• Drive continuous improvement of processes, tools, and workflows across the business
