Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science from an accredited college or university.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, global environment and travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, testing, and deployment of Train Handling solutions.
• Assist in gathering, documenting, and analyzing customer and system requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Software Engineering, Train Control, Safety, Validation, and Applications Engineering.
• Participate in requirements reviews, design reviews, verification activities, and technical discussions.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues and supporting resolution efforts under guidance of senior engineers.
• Contribute to field testing, validation, and evaluation activities for train automation and optimization.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and engineering deliverables.
• Learn operational concepts from railroad subject matter experts and apply to product development.
