Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years hands‑on design, requirements development and implementation experience in Engineering Systems, Hardware/Software Eng., or Data Information Systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, global environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, integration, testing, and enhancement of Train Handling solutions.
• Elicit, analyze, define, and manage customer and system requirements; align with product objectives.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Software, Train Control, Safety, Validation, and Applications Engineering.
• Drive requirements and design reviews, technical assessments, and verification activities.
• Investigate complex technical issues, identify root causes, implement corrective actions.
• Plan and execute field testing, validation, and operational evaluations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and project updates.
• Engage with railroad customers and stakeholders to translate challenges into solutions.
• Apply engineering best practices and emerging technologies to improve product capabilities.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to accelerate analysis and improve engineering productivity.
