Job summary

PrismHR is seeking a Product Analyst to join the ExecuPay platform and support Product Managers and Designers in delivering customer-focused solutions. You will draft user stories, PRDs, and specifications, using AI tools to accelerate analysis while ensuring accuracy and business value.

You will collaborate with UX, Engineering, and Support, translate business needs into a prioritized backlog, and contribute to platform modernization across the Shared Technology team.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of Business Analyst, Product Management, or equivalent experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Payroll and HR concepts for service bureaus and SMBs.
• Experience working with Product Managers and UX Designers.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Strong balance of business acumen and technical aptitude.
• Experience with HR platforms and core functionality: Payroll, HR, Benefits Administration, Time & Attendance, Compliance & Tax, Reporting.
• Ability to read API documentation and JSON payloads; basic SQL is a plus.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to draft requirements, synthesize research, or build prototypes.
• Understanding of handling sensitive employee and payroll data with approved enterprise AI tools.
• Experience in Agile environments and ceremonies; ability to facilitate Scrum events.

Responsibilities

• Support Product Manager with product coverage and tactical activities related to ExecuPay.
• Develop User Stories to a 'Ready for Development' state using AI for drafting and reviewing outputs.
• Draft PRDs and specifications with the Product Manager using AI tools.
• Build rapid prototypes with AI tools to test concepts with customers and stakeholders.
• Capture requirements and translate business needs into a prioritized backlog (Epic > User Stories > Acceptance Criteria).
• Synthesize client feedback, enhancement requests, and product usage data into prioritization themes.
• Conduct competitive and market analysis in the HCM space using AI-assisted research.
• Maintain Jira metadata for AI-enabled reporting and backlog health.
• Collaborate with PMs and the development team on SME-related payroll/HR topics.
• Lead UAT and coordinate with Development and QA to ensure acceptance criteria are met.
• Coordinate with parallel Shared Technology teams to align cross-team work.
• Work with Technical Documentation on changes and communications.
• Support Support/Professional Services in triaging issues and identifying enhancements.
• Assist other delivery teams on special projects as needed.
