Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring a staff-level product manager to drive the next generation of payroll automation. You’ll move payroll from manual entry to autopilot, detect anomalies, and drive proactive approvals.

You will redesign the underlying data model and permissions, design agentic workflows, and partner daily with engineering, data science, design, and legal to balance tradeoffs and ensure auditable explanations. You will own the metrics that prove impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management in high-stakes domains like payroll/tax.
• Experience with ML/LLM-powered automation and evaluating models.
• Ability to work across engineering, data science, design, and legal.
• Experience shipping in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Move the product from manual entry to autopilot with proactive approvals.
• Build background payroll compliance with auditable explanations.
• Redesign data models and permissions to improve automation reliability.
• Design agentic workflows that mimic top payroll admins while preserving customer control.
• Collaborate daily with engineering, data science, design, and legal to balance tradeoffs.
• Set and track metrics to reduce payroll exceptions and improve retention.
