Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a staff-level Product Manager to own AI-powered payroll automation. You will drive systems that automate payroll readiness, detect anomalies, and streamline approvals. Collaborate with engineering, data science, design, and legal to shape modeling guardrails and auditable changes.

You will redesign data models, define success metrics, and push for faster, more accurate payroll outcomes, with impact on mid-market and enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management, shipping in regulated/workflows such as payroll, tax, HR.
• Experience with ML/LLM-powered automation and evaluation loops.
• Able to work in ambiguity and drive execution without a fixed roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Move product from manual entry to autopilot with proactive anomaly detection and approvals.
• Build compliance that catches rate, deduction, and tax errors before release, with auditable explanations.
• Redesign data models and permissions to support reliable automation.
• Design agentic workflows that emulate a top payroll admin while allowing override/rollback by customers.
• Partner daily with engineering, data science, design, and legal to balance modeling and guardrails.
• Set and defend metrics to prove improvements in payroll accuracy, speed, and retention.
