Job summary

Mode.Inc seeks an AI-native Email & SMS Marketing Specialist to own the day-to-day execution and growth of owned-channel messaging across the Mode.Inc portfolio. You will run recurring newsletters, build automated journeys, and treat email and SMS as revenue channels.

This hands-on role requires briefing, planning, and end-to-end execution across content, creative, product, and data teams, with experience in CleverTap and beehiiv.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in retention, lifecycle, or CRM marketing, preferably in finance, gaming, or consumer products.
• AI-native: use AI to automate workflows, build lightweight processes, and scale daily newsletter sends.
• Hands-on experience designing and building automated flows (welcome series, post-purchase, re-engagement) including segmentation and trigger logic.
• Data-fluent: pull and interpret performance data, identify trends, and act on them. Proficient in Excel.
• Creative: bring ideas, try new things, and move the ball forward.
• Highly organized and reliable to hit a daily send window.
• Team player with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Create, schedule, QA, and send email and SMS campaigns, including 2–3 recurring daily newsletters.
• Design and implement lifecycle programs across products (welcome, post-purchase, re-engagement) and own journey logic.
• Build and launch new newsletters from scratch on beehiiv or CleverTap.
• Manage contacts in marketing platforms, import, tag, segment, and maintain deliverability and domain reputation.
• Integrate AI across programs: copy generation, audience targeting, performance optimization, and lightweight automations.
