Job summary

Study.com is seeking an AI Email & SMS Manager to evolve our consumer email and SMS programs into an AI-native system — with AI as the backbone rather than an add-on.

You’ll own email and SMS as a revenue stream, building automated journeys to convert interest into paying members, and partner with Product to craft lifecycle experiences that improve learner outcomes and retention. The role is based in Mountain View, CA with a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience building and shipping AI-powered systems including agents or pipelines.
• Comfort using Claude Cowork and Claude Code for marketing solutions.
• Working knowledge of modern AI tooling and automation platforms.
• Marketing instinct and consumer empathy for enrollment decisions.
• Familiarity with consumer funnels, segmentation, and lifecycle design.
• Ownership mindset with hands-on execution and measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Own email and SMS as a revenue stream; set strategy, forecast, and growth for new members and LTV.
• Build automated flows from captured leads to paid memberships across channels.
• Architect AI systems, audiences, content variants, personalization, QA, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Product on lifecycle experiences aligned to learner goals.
• Apply LLMs to segmentation, copy variants, and model evaluation explanations.
• Lead experiments, KPI reporting, and maintain comprehensive analytics.
• Present performance insights and forecasts to leadership.
