Job summary

Taranis, the AI-powered crop intelligence leader, seeks an AI-Native Technical Product Manager for ag tech. You’ll translate retailer and agronomy needs into actionable specs for engineering, while partnering with AI-native teams to refine products and deliver measurable grower value.

You’ll work closely with customers across the Midwest, travel regularly, and guide the product from concept to launch with a strong emphasis on agronomic and economic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in agriculture or ag tech with retailer/agronomy focus.
• Experience directing AI tools to draft or prototype product specs.
• Ability to write precise requirements with minimal ambiguity.
• Technical fluency to discuss tradeoffs with engineers.
• Ability to understand internal systems (CRM/ERP/inventory) for data integration.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the Midwest.

Responsibilities

• Translate agronomy and retailer needs into actionable product specs for engineering.
• Prototype against field data to validate hypotheses and solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering to align specs with architecture and UX.
• Prioritize opportunities based on agronomic and economic value to retailers.
