Job summary

Crop Diagnostix, a venture-backed agtech startup using genomics and AI, seeks an AI-Native Product Manager to bridge customers and engineering. You’ll gather input from growers and partners, translate it into a prioritized roadmap, and ship against it with AI-assisted development.

This role is remote for US-based candidates with relocation to the San Diego HQ if desired; strong agriculture domain knowledge and hands-on product leadership in a technical B2B environment are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of product management experience owning a roadmap end to end.
• Experience in agriculture or ag tech (farming, agronomy, inputs, equipment).
• Experience shipping a technical B2B or field-operations product.
• Hands-on experience shipping code using AI-assisted tools.
• Experience working with an engineering team: PRs, code reviews, workflows.
• Startup or early-stage company experience preferred.
• US work authorization (no visa sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Lead product discovery across growers, agronomy, and partners and translate findings into a prioritized roadmap.
• Write clear specs with engineering: user stories, edge cases, acceptance criteria, and reasoning.
• Prioritize across pipeline: grower insights, input insights, lab tooling, backend, AI/data access.
• Own product feedback loop: usage analytics, support signals, partner feedback, pain points.
• Manage integration partnerships with data providers and future partners.
• Scale product practices as the team grows and coordinate multiple workstreams.
