Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a hands-on AI leader to turn marketing AI strategy into production capabilities. You will own AI skills development, lead a team of AI engineers, and coordinate with engineering and data science partners to deliver end-to-end workflows.

You will build reusable governance, interfaces, and portable capabilities that ensure compliance and measurable impact. You will bring deep experience shipping production AI apps, data engineering, and a track record of building

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience architecting and shipping production AI applications including agentic workflows and tooling.
• Strong foundation in data engineering, analytics engineering, BI, or software engineering.
• Track record of building a capability or platform from scratch with real usage.
• Experience leading engineers as a hands-on builder-leader and setting technical direction.
• Proven ability to deliver through influence across teams you do not own.
• Sound judgment on quality, risk, and governance in production AI.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in marketing, growth, or commercial Go-to-market contexts.

Responsibilities

• Own AI skills development: architect, build, version, and maintain skills and agents for marketing workflows.
• Lead and grow a team of AI engineers and stay hands-on to set the technical bar.
• Convert prioritized AI use-cases into shipped, measurable capabilities with timely delivery.
• Manage cross-functional dependencies with engineering and data science teams.
• Deliver end-to-end workflows from brief to channel-ready output.
• Build a compliance foundation: legal, privacy, accessibility, and content integrity checks.
• Establish engineering governance with accountable owners, versioning, and guardrails.
• Engineer for portability to avoid platform lock-in.
• Instrument outcomes like time-to-insight and adoption to raise accountability.
• Partner with IT and commercial teams to integrate marketing AI with broader tech.
