Job summary

OpenAI, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager to build and run a partner network that supports communities and organizations using our technology. You will turn an early program into a reliable operation, recruit partners, onboard them, and ensure smooth agreements, payments, and service quality.

You will collaborate with local operators and internal teams to design scalable workflows, improve support, and deliver high-quality outcomes while managing budgets and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building and running complex partner programs from design to scale.
• Strong operational judgment across onboarding, payments and events.
• Able to earn trust with small businesses, local operators and community leaders.
• Practical familiarity with AI-enabled workflows (ChatGPT, Codex) and technical discussions.
• Uses data and qualitative feedback to drive meaningful improvements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience creating playbooks or automation to scale high-touch programs.

Responsibilities

• Build the partner operating model from sourcing through onboarding, renewal and exit.
• Coordinate partner onboarding with Legal, Finance and Procurement and ensure timely payments.
• Manage partner payments, reporting and related processes.
• Plan and support local workshops, events, and deployments with partners.
• Coordinate partner marketing and communications with internal teams and partners.
• Develop partner guidance and obtain brand/messaging approvals.
• Foster trusted relationships with local operators and beneficiary organizations.
• Create intake systems, knowledge base, service logs and reusable playbooks.
• Develop and operate partner review processes combining service delivery and feedback.
• Collaborate with analytics and product teams to assess impact and improvements.
• Manage budgets, vendors, risks, and dependencies; keep stakeholders informed.
