Job summary

IDR, Inc. is seeking an AI Ops Engineer II to join one of our top clients on a remote opportunity.

You will help design and scale a unified operational AI interface used by IT Operations teams to access infrastructure data, insights, and automation in one centralized platform. You will build and enhance an enterprise operational AI platform, develop data integrations with ITSM/CMDB, and design multi-agent workflows to support incident triage and RCA.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of overall engineering experience with backend/API/data roles.
• 1–2 years of experience with modern LLMs and retrieval augmented generation.
• Experience building multi-agent AI systems and tool-calling patterns.
• Strong Python with RESTful API experience.
• Experience integrating with IT operations systems like ServiceNow and monitoring/cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance an enterprise operational AI platform serving IT Operations engineers.
• Develop data integrations connecting LLM frameworks to ITSM/CMDB, monitoring, and cloud platforms.
• Design and implement multi-agent reasoning workflows for incident triage, Help Desk automation, RCA.
• Create API-driven services and tooling in Python to connect disparate systems for automation.
• Improve data quality, governance, and guardrails to increase AI safety and operational trust.
