Job summary

GovCIO in Arlington, VA is seeking an AI Ops Engineer with an active Secret clearance to implement AI and automation in IT operations, improving monitoring, incident response, predictive analytics, and system reliability in a hybrid/remote role.

You will deploy AI-driven monitoring, develop incident automation, analyze operational data, and integrate AI tools with ITSM platforms to reduce alerts and boost availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's with 12+ years of infrastructure/cloud engineering experience (or commensurate experience)
• 5-10 years of hands‑on experience in IT operations and cloud environments
• Proficiency with AIOps platforms for automating IT operations
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and their applications in IT
• Experience using observability tools such as Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, and New Relic
• Expertise in ServiceNow ITOM for IT operations management
• Advanced Python scripting skills for automation and data processing
• Proven ability in data analytics to drive operational insights
• Solid knowledge of cloud operations and best practices and automation frameworks

Posted Salary Range: USD $220,000.00 - USD $240,000.00 /Yr.
