Job summary

Karbon is seeking an AI Operations Lead to design and ship internal AI tooling across departments, manage governance, and drive measurable ROI. You will partner with executives to build scalable data pipelines, establish standards, and train teams on effective AI usage.

You will work with non-technical stakeholders, lead cross-functional programs, and own the lifecycle of AI initiatives from conception to production with a focus on cost control and reliability.

Qualifications

• Shipped production software in the last two years.
• Built something on top of a large language model with users, error handling, and cost control.
• Worked directly with non-technical teams as the technical lead.
• Able to quantify ROI and present to CFO.
• Led cross-functional program with champions network or adoption initiative.

Responsibilities

• Ship internal automations and agents across Sales, CS, Implementation, Support and Operations.
• Own governance and visibility of AI tooling, including spend dashboards and ROI framework.
• Lead training and establish standard usage of AI tools across departments.
• Define metrics and build data pipelines to report AI impact to executives.
