Scale AI is seeking an Forward Deployed AI Engineering Manager to bridge cutting-edge AI capabilities with enterprise customers. You will lead a team that architects AI solutions, deploy AI systems in production, and work directly with customer teams to integrate AI into critical workflows.

You will design custom integrations, build data pipelines, and establish robust evaluation and governance practices across security and compliance boundaries.

Qualifications

• 5+ years software engineering with 3+ years in management; strong data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Experience leading AI deployments for enterprise customers.
• Deep understanding of LLMs, prompting, embeddings, and RAG architectures.
• Familiarity with security/compliance in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team that architects AI solutions and deploys AI in production for strategic accounts.
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams to integrate AI into critical workflows.
• Design and implement custom integrations between Scale AI platform and customer data environments.
• Build robust data connectors and ETL pipelines for AI workflows.
• Mentor engineers and drive best practices for scalable AI deployments.
