IDR, Inc. is seeking an AI-Native Software Engineering Manager to lead a dynamic team responsible for developing and maintaining cutting-edge platforms that power our client’s innovative products.

You will mentor engineers, oversee timely delivery of features, drive AI-assisted development, and collaborate with leadership to uphold coding standards and strategic initiatives. This role emphasizes leadership, architecture oversight, and AI-native software practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in C# / ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, SQL Server / Azure SQL, and front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native deployment practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, with a commitment to AI-native engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a diverse team of software engineers, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the delivery of high-quality software, ensuring timely completion of features, bug fixes, and technical investments.
• Engage in technical oversight, including architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical planning.
• Drive the adoption of AI-assisted development tools and ensure effective integration of AI agents in the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders to uphold AI development standards and contribute to engineering-wide initiatives.
