Job summary

AI2IO is seeking a Manager, Software Engineering to lead the people, capability, and operating environment behind a growing AI platform and agent ecosystem. The role prioritizes building a governed AI platform, developing engineers and AI Engineer Technical Leads, and translating strategy into actionable team work while maintaining collaboration with architecture, product, analysis, and delivery leaders.

As a formal people manager, you will oversee staffing, performance, and career development

Qualifications

• Experience leading, managing, architecting, or delivering production AI or LLM platforms or applications.
• Ability to translate strategy and architecture into team objectives and context.
• Experience managing performance, recognition, development, reviews, and succession.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop engineers and technical leads through coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.
• Build team capability through staffing, onboarding, and leadership development.
• Own sustainable delivery environment with staffing, capacity planning, and risk management.
• Translate AI strategy into clear team-context and actionable work intake.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
