Federato, an AI-native platform transforming the insurance lifecycle, seeks a senior engineering leader to guide a team of engineers building scalable core product capabilities at the intersection of software, AI, and insurance.

You will translate ambiguous product needs into clear engineering priorities, lead architectural decisions, and drive production readiness across systems, APIs, and cloud infrastructure. A strong track record in leadership and delivering complex initiatives is required.

Qualifications

• Experienced software engineering leader with a track record of hiring and developing engineers.
• Proven ability to translate product and customer needs into engineering priorities.
• Strong depth in distributed systems, APIs, cloud infrastructure, or modern web apps.
• Demonstrated success leading large, ambiguous technical initiatives to production.
• Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments with shifting priorities.
• Excellent cross-functional communication across Engineering, Product, Data Science.

Responsabilités

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of engineers, including hiring and career development.
• Set technical direction and define the roadmap for the team with measurable outcomes.
• Guide architecture and critical design decisions; ensure scalable, reliable production systems.
• Partner with Product, Design, Data Science, and Customer-facing teams to drive initiatives end-to-end.
• Leverage AI-native development to maintain velocity while upholding security and reliability.
