Job summary

Phenom is seeking a Product Development Engineer 2 (AI-Native) for an onsite role in the United States. You will turn complex customer needs into scalable features, own them end-to-end, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with platform and reliability teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, AI tooling, and delivering production-ready solutions with strong engineering standards in a fast-moving AI-powered talent experience platform.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software development or product engineering experience.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and critical thinking.
• Comfortable working across the stack and independently building AI-enabled solutions.
• Customer empathy and ability to understand complex workflows.
• End-to-end ownership and production support.

Responsibilities

• Build innovative products on the Phenom platform and translate complex ideas into scalable features.
• Design, build, validate, and own features end-to-end from prototype to production.
• Lead AI-assisted engineering with agents and skills and ensure observability updates with each PR.
• Manage deployment readiness, production validation, and customer onboarding activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical design reviews.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field

Master's degree preferred
