Job summary

Accenture is seeking an exceptional AI-native software engineer to build and ship production-grade products from the full stack. You will shape technical direction, decompose ambiguous problems, and own delivery from prototype to production in a hybrid work setup across multiple offices including New York.

You will work with coding agents, AI tooling, and guardrails to deliver reliable, scalable software that solves real industry problems while maintaining a high standard of quality and security.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience building and shipping production software.
• Experience building across the full stack (frontend and backend).
• Strong software engineering fundamentals: design, data modeling, APIs, testing, cloud-native, security, observability.
• 2+ years hands-on AI-native engineering in production contexts.
• 1+ year building reliable AI or agentic systems and taking products to production.
• Proven ability to leverage AI development tools to increase engineering leverage while maintaining quality.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years).

Responsibilities

• Build and ship across the full stack, including architecture, data models, backend services, APIs, and UX.
• Design and implement AI-native products and agentic systems with robust guardrails.
• Use AI tools throughout the engineering lifecycle and govern production outputs.
• Set technical direction for new product areas, balancing speed, security, and reliability.
• Own product and production outcomes with emphasis on reliability, observability, and customer impact.
• Raise the engineering bar with thorough technical reviews and shared standards.
