Dome Systems Inc is seeking a Product Engineer to build software that addresses real customer problems across the stack. You will work in an AI-native environment contributing to backend services and tooling, focusing on delivering features end-to-end.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer science, clean coding skills, and experience in software delivery. The role promotes a remote-friendly culture with a focus on meaningful work and flexibility.

Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals in computer science or software engineering.
• Can write clean code in at least one language and learn Go.
• Understanding of computers and networks: processes, memory, TCP, HTTP, DNS.
• Experience in delivering software through side projects or internships.
• Adopted an AI-native development workflow.
• Ability to debug methodically.
• Effective team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build the platform for managing agentic systems and contribute to backend services.
• Own features end-to-end, shipping production code.
• Work directly with senior engineers and founders to contribute to architecture discussions.
• Establish technical foundations and engineering culture.

Skills

Strong fundamentals in computer science or software engineering

Ability to write clean code in at least one language

Understanding of processes, memory, TCP, HTTP, DNS

Experience with building projects (side project, open source, internship)

Adoption of an AI-native development workflow

Methodical debugging approach

Effective communication and collaboration skills

Education

Degree, bootcamp, or self-directed learning in relevant field
