Job summary

Accenture is seeking an AI Native Engineer with 3+ years of experience to design, build, and operate agentic systems for enterprise clients, integrating AI platforms and cloud-native technologies across complex environments.

You will embed with clients, prototype use cases, and deliver scalable, secure workflows. Travel up to 25–75% may be required; strong collaboration and production deployment experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years engineering experience with cloud-native systems (APIs, microservices).
• Minimum of 1 year designing and deploying agentic solutions in production.
• Minimum of 3 years experience with AI platforms (OpenAI, Claude, Vertex AI) and multi-provider pipelines.
• Minimum of 5 years programming in Python, Java, or equivalent; familiarity with observability.
• Minimum of 5 years deploying to production — CI/CD, IaC (Terraform, Helm).
• Minimum of 5 years experience with client communication and workshops in ambiguity.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.

Responsibilities

• Agent Architecture and Engineering: Design enterprise-ready AI agents with retrieval, orchestration, routing, tool invocation, evaluation harnesses, and observability.
• AI Platform Integration: Develop abstraction layers across AI providers to enable seamless integration.
• Cloud-Native Engineering: Use Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, serverless, and CI/CD to build scalable AI-native systems.
• Domain-Specific Workflows: Tailor agentic apps across finance, healthcare, and retail via intelligent automation.
• Client Engagement: Conduct design workshops, POCs, and code-with sessions to shape data-driven workflows.
• Measure & Improve: Define metrics and evaluation plans for agent accuracy, latency, safety, and cost.
• Knowledge Sharing: Create patterns and docs to influence assets and client roadmaps.
