Job summary

Accenture is seeking an AI Native Engineer with 10+ years of software engineering and SDLC expertise to design and deploy enterprise AI agents. You will embed with clients as a technologist and trusted advisor, building robust agentic workflows, APIs, and orchestration across platforms.

You will work with cloud-native architectures (Kubernetes, Docker), AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google), and develop scalable, observable systems. Travel may be required up to 100% depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years end-to-end software engineering and SDLC experience.
• 8+ years in API, microservices, cloud-native engineering and tools.
• 3+ years with AI platforms and multi-provider pipelines.
• 1.5+ years designing agentic solutions in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer enterprise-ready AI agents including retrieval, orchestration, policy routing, and observability.
• Develop abstraction layers across AI providers for seamless integration.
• Leverage Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, serverless, CI/CD, and observability.
• Tailor agentic applications across verticals (finance, healthcare, retail).
• Lead design workshops, POCs, and code-with sessions with stakeholders to drive adoption.
• Define metrics and evaluation plans for agent accuracy, latency, safety and cost.
