TikTok USDS Joint Venture is seeking a Technical Product Manager for AI Model Assurance to own the roadmap and governance of our Content Assurance program across GenAI surfaces. You will define requirements, success metrics, and an audit-ready system, partnering with engineering and GRC to drive faster, more defensible approvals.

This is a technical product role focused on end-to-end delivery, not coordination, with accountability for quarterly improvements and leadership alignment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product management, including model-risk or platform ownership.
• Ability to write PRDs, requirements, and success metrics for engineering.
• Experience with generative AI or AI safety domains.
• Fluency in SQL and ability to interpret dashboards.
• Proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration to decisions on fixed timelines.
• Strong written communication for leadership updates.

Responsibilities

• Own the Model Assurance product roadmap end-to-end: intake, approval workflow, change detection, evaluation dossier tooling, dashboards, and audit evidence pipeline.
• Translate policy, control catalog, and analyst pain points into crisp requirements, success metrics, and acceptance criteria for engineering.
• Partner with the engineering team on design, trade-off calls, and delivery; drive prioritization when scope and time do not both fit.
• Define metrics describing program health and ensure systems can produce them without hand-updated trackers.
• Sit inside the launch review loop for high-signal releases to sharpen the next generation of tooling.
• Work with Assurance Analysts to identify high-cost manual steps and turn them into prioritized roadmap items.
• Partner with GRC on audit needs so evidence capture is a product capability, not a fire drill.
• Write and maintain PRDs, design reviews, and change logs for reproducibility and audit-defensibility.
• Report roadmap progress and KPIs to leadership and represent Model Assurance in cross-functional forums.
