Job summary

TikTok USDS Joint Venture seeks a lead ML/AI engineer to architect risk systems across the US platform. You will design representations from video, audio, behavior data and social graphs to enable robust protection for a billion-user ecosystem.

You will advance Generative AI integrations, oversee model governance, and implement resilient defenses against evolving threats, coordinating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Solid foundation in Machine Learning; proficient in applying Transformer and GNN architectures to solve large-scale integrity challenges with social graph and behavior sequence data.
• Strong engineering and coding skills. Proficient in at least one language among Python, C++, or Go; familiar with distributed computing (e.g., Spark, Flink) and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch).
• A passion for building world-class risk infrastructure and the ability to communicate effectively in a global, cross-cultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the algorithmic architecture and governance for TikTok US across account integrity, incentive abuse, content safety, and financial risk.
• Build high-precision, risk representation models leveraging video, live streams, audio, and behavior data for cross-scenario risk perception.
• Research and counter global adversarial threats; architect self-evolving defense systems against data drift and rapid tactic shifts.
• Drive integration of Generative AI and Multimodal technologies into the risk lifecycle, balancing precision with automated enforcement.
