Job summary

KBR seeks a Senior Systems Engineer (AI/ML Integration) to provide technical leadership supporting AI/ML-enabled capabilities within the MQ-9 Program Office. You will guide architecture, requirements, and evaluation efforts, collaborating with government and industry stakeholders to ensure effective integration across acquisition, test, production, and sustainment activities.

The role emphasizes AI/ML concepts within aerospace/defense systems and requires coordinating multiple engineering teams

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer/Systems Engineering or related STEM field.
Minimum eight years in design/integration/test/sustainment of aerospace or defense systems.
Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Develop and apply systems engineering products for unmanned aviation and autonomous capabilities.
Define and maintain system requirements, interfaces, and architecture for AI/ML-enabled systems.
Conduct trade studies, assessments, and evaluations to inform program decisions.
Coordinate with government, testing, and platform integrator teams for fielding.
Provide oversight of AI/ML data management, model development, and deployment activities.
