Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an AI ML Governance & Automation Lead within Consumer & Community Banking Digital AI/ML to drive governance and responsible innovation across advanced AI/ML use cases.

You will partner with data scientists, engineers, product teams, risk partners, and business stakeholders to design scalable governance solutions and operating models for agentic and customer-facing AI solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading complex technology, data, AI/ML, risk, or governance programs in a large organization.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML development lifecycles, governance, and risk management.
• Advanced stakeholder management with cross-team influence.
• Proven ability to manage multi-dependency, evolving requirements, and delivery across functions.
• Ability to translate business and technical needs into actionable plans.
• Experience driving process improvement or governance transformation in fast-paced tech environments.
• Strong communication to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven track record delivering in an agile environment.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes in evolving tech areas.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute program plans to accelerate AI/ML model governance and lifecycle milestones.
• Partner with data science, engineering, product, risk, and business teams to define scope and success metrics.
• Design scalable governance solutions for agentic, generative, and customer-facing AI/ML use cases.
• Identify and mitigate program risks; implement contingency plans to maintain momentum.
• Translate complex requirements into milestones and execution activities.
• Drive cross-functional alignment on governance standards, controls, and documentation.
• Use data-driven analysis to improve process speed, consistency, and quality.
• Champion agile delivery and responsible AI innovation across teams.
• Communicate status, risks, and dependencies to senior stakeholders clearly.
• Develop repeatable governance playbooks and patterns for scalable delivery.
