Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in AI Native Engineering to deliver scalable AI/ML solutions for Power & Utilities clients. You’ll lead cross‑functional teams, translate AI outcomes into business insights, and drive production‑level analytics across on‑prem and cloud environments.

You’ll collaborate with diverse teams, guide technical development, and ensure governance, security, and regulatory compliance. EY offers hybrid work and a broad compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4‑year).
• 6–10 years of AI/Data experience.
• 2–4 years of experience directly managing technical teams.
• Strong skills in Python.
• Ability to lead, collaborate, and communicate with diverse teams.
• Experience designing and maintaining production AI/ML solutions on a major cloud platform.
• Proficient in Generative AI models and frameworks (OpenAI, Dall‑e, Langchain).
• Experience with ML workflows, data ingestion, transformation, and evaluation.
• Experience with model monitoring and reporting.
• Understanding of data structures, data modelling and software engineering best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to travel for client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead workstreams and ensure effective project delivery.
• Identify innovative improvements through research and analysis.
• Manage professional staff and supervise teams delivering complex initiatives.
• Engage with clients and lead workstreams from planning to closure.
• Identify opportunities for additional services and manage engagement economics.
• Design and deliver AI/ML use cases for Power & Utilities, e.g., outage prediction, asset health, regulatory analytics.
• Work with data sources like SCADA, GIS, EAM, OMS, CIS, historian systems.
• Move AI solutions from pilots to production while meeting regulatory and governance requirements.
