Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Model Engineering to deliver modern AI, machine learning, and generative AI solutions for diverse clients. You will lead teams to design, build, and deploy scalable AI systems across cloud and on-prem environments, ensure responsible engineering, and drive high-impact data-driven outcomes.

You will collaborate with scientists and engineers to advance analytics, software, and data platforms while mentoring others.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• 6–10 years of relevant AI/Data Science/ML experience.
• 2–4 years of experience directly managing technical teams.
• Strong Python skills.
• Ability to lead, collaborate, and communicate with diverse, hybrid and global teams.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining production AI/ML solutions on major cloud platforms.
• Proficiency with foundation models, generative AI, and agentic AI frameworks.
• Experience with ML packages like scikit-learn and PyTorch.
• Experience with NLP and deep learning.
• DevOps tools (Git, Azure DevOps), Agile (Jira), CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with MLOps, LLMOps, AgentOps and ML workflows.
• Model retraining and feedback loop methodologies.
• Observability, monitoring, and reporting for AI solutions.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, data modeling, software engineering, and Responsible AI.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI workstreams from design through deployment and optimization.
• Identify innovative solutions through research and analysis.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams delivering complex AI initiatives with quality and responsible deployment.
• Engage with clients and lead workstreams from planning to closure.
• Identify opportunities for additional services and manage engagement economics.
