Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in AI Native Engineering to lead teams delivering scalable AI/ML solutions for Power & Utilities. You will collaborate with diverse client teams, translate complex analytics into actionable insights, and drive production‑ready analyses across cloud and on‑prem environments.

You will work with SCADA, GIS, EAM systems and modern analytics platforms, guiding projects from planning through execution while navigating regulatory and governance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred for advanced roles.
• 6–10 years of experience in AI, data science, and/or machine learning.
• 2–4 years of direct experience leading technical teams.
• Strong Python programming skills and production ML experience.
• Experience designing and deploying AI/ML solutions on major cloud platforms.
• Proficient with generative AI models and frameworks; familiar with MLOps.
• Experience with DevOps tools (Git, Azure DevOps), Jira, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with data structures, data modelling, and software engineering best practices.
• Excellent communication and willingness to travel for client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead workstreams and manage delivery across projects.
• Identify and implement innovative solutions through research and analysis.
• Guide teams to deliver high‑value production AI/ML solutions.
• Engage with clients, run sessions, and manage engagements from planning to closure.
• Translate AI outputs into business insights for executives and regulators.
• Ensure regulatory, cybersecurity, and data governance requirements are met.
