Job summary

EY is seeking an EY Growth Platforms AI ML Engineering Director to lead the design, build, and scaling of AI solutions that drive strategic growth for Fortune 500 clients. You will guide cross‑functional teams of engineers, translate business needs into AI workflows, and own delivery from prototype to production.

You’ll collaborate with data scientists, leaders, and DevOps to ensure robust pipelines, architecture, and governance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Analytics, or related field with 5 years of experience; or a graduate degree with ~3 years of experience.
Full-time, hands-on experience applying AI/ML to real-world problems.
Familiarity with multi‑modal agent frameworks (LangChain, Haystack, RAG pipelines).
Expertise in vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma) and LLM fine‑tuning.
Strong understanding of data merging, schema linking, and model evaluation at scale.
Fluency in Python and ML frameworks; ability to architect APIs around ML models.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain the core advanced analytics platform.
Translate business needs into technically executable ML workflows.
Lead a high-performing team of engineers through end-to-end project lifecycles.
Define end-to-end architecture for agents integrating LLMs, RAG, and multi-source data.
Collaborate with Data Engineering and DevOps on pipeline integration and deployment.
Mentor junior engineers, conduct reviews, and refine LOE and roadmaps.
Deliver AI/ML components from prototype to production (REST APIs, dashboards).
