Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Chinese Language Expert to help evaluate and improve AI systems for Chinese language learning. You will shape how AI understands, assesses, and communicates in Chinese, impacting learners worldwide.

The role is remote, hourly, with a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week. Responsibilities include evaluating AI output, identifying errors, and providing structured feedback to enhance language tutoring models.

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in Chinese.
• Experience teaching Chinese or evaluating learner language.
• Fluent in English (C1/C2 level).
• Familiar with CEFR frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated Chinese speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality.
• Assess learner speech and writing across proficiency levels from CEFR Pre-A1 through B2+.
• Identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps using expert judgement.
• Provide clear, structured feedback that improves AI tutoring and language-learning models.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts.
• Contribute to raising the overall quality and reliability of AI language instruction.

Who You Are

• Strong attention to detail and consistency in linguistic judgment
• No prior AI experience required
