Job summary

EY seeks senior engineers for the Advanced Forward Engineering team to design, build, and deliver AI-native systems within highly regulated client environments. You will own end-to-end delivery, embed with clients, and ensure production-ready, auditable solutions.

The role requires 5+ years delivering complex software in regulated settings, with hands-on distributed systems experience and strong collaboration with platform, security, and governance partners. Hybrid work model offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software systems in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Experience in customer-facing or consulting engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying distributed systems, APIs, integrations, or data-intensive applications.
• Practical experience with modern AI application stacks (LLM-backed systems, agentic workflows).
• Proven track record owning delivery in real-world conditions.
• Production-grade code in compliance, performance, and reliability constraints.

Responsibilities

• Embed directly with client teams to frame problems and delivery paths under constraints.
• Own end-to-end delivery outcomes from shaping through deployment and sustainment.
• Implement AI-enabled workflows and orchestrations using platform capabilities.
• Write and review production‑quality code aligned with enterprise standards.
• Balance functionality, safety, cost, and timelines; explain decisions to stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions meet security, AI integrity, and FinOps constraints with regulators.
• Capture field learnings to improve platform evolution; collaborate to reduce rework.
