Job summary

EY seeks a senior engineer for the Advanced Forward Engineering team in the Office of the CTO. You will embed with clients to design, build, and deliver AI-native systems in regulated environments, owning end-to-end delivery from shaping to production.

You’ll write production-grade code (LangGraph, Python) and collaborate with platform, architecture, security, and governance partners to ensure auditable, safe-to-ship solutions that drive real business value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Experience in customer-facing or consulting engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying distributed systems, APIs, integrations, or data-intensive applications.

Responsibilities

• Embed with client teams to frame problems under regulatory constraints.
• Own end-to-end delivery for engagements from shaping to deployment.
• Implement and manage AI-enabled workflows and orchestration with approved platform capabilities.
• Write production-quality code (LangGraph, Python) aligned with enterprise standards.
• Balance functionality, safety, cost, and timelines and explain decisions to stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions comply with security and governance constraints with safe-to-ship approvals.
• Capture field learnings and contribute to platform evolution.
• Collaborate with integration, platform, and architecture teams to enable repeatable delivery patterns.
