Job summary

Morgan Stanley's Firm Risk Management (FRM) Division seeks an Associate to support AI governance and reporting across MRM. The role blends Scrum Master duties with hands-on work to identify, coordinate, and implement AI-driven process improvements.

You will collaborate with business units, technology teams and senior management to accelerate automation, improve efficiency, and strengthen governance and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, data analytics, finance, risk management, or a related field.
• 1-4 years of experience in Agile delivery, project coordination, business analysis, reporting, governance, risk management, or technology.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum practices.

Responsibilities

• Identify and deliver AI and automation opportunities across MRM governance, reporting, inventory management, and policy assurance.
• Support policy assurance activities, including monitoring compliance, findings, remediation actions, exceptions, and governance commitments.
• Support model, Tool, and EUC inventory governance, including attestations, verifications, data-quality reviews, discrepancy resolution, control monitoring, and reporting.
• Prepare dashboards, metrics, executive summaries, presentations, and other materials for senior management and governance forums.
• Support MRM training, communications, FAQs, procedures, templates, and stakeholder guidance.
• Document requirements and coordinate cross-functional testing, implementation, adoption, and stakeholder communication.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, maintain backlogs and delivery roadmaps, and track milestones, dependencies, risks, impediments, and delivery metrics.
