Job summary

TD Securities is seeking a Director of AI Governance to lead the operation of its AI governance function. You will coordinate reviews, risk assessments, approvals, and monitor AI-related risks across Front Office, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Privacy, Legal, Cybersecurity, and Internal Audit.

The role requires deep capital markets knowledge and proven ability to influence senior leaders, with a focus on governance, risk management, and regulatory alignment across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• Significant experience in capital markets.
• Direct experience leading AI governance programs.
• Experience supporting audits and regulatory reviews.
• Strong communication with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operation of TD Securities AI Governance function.
• Coordinate governance reviews, risk assessments, approvals, and escalation processes.
• Ensure AI use cases satisfy governance, control, testing, and approval requirements before deployment.
• Maintain oversight of AI-related risks, issues, and remediation activities.
• Engage with regulatory, risk, and audit teams to translate requirements into governance expectations.
