Databricks is seeking a Sr. Manager for AI Forward Deployed Engineering (AI FDE) to lead a high-impact, customer-facing team delivering GenAI production-grade solutions.

You will shape product-roadmap input through voice-of-customer insights and manage strategic accounts, with regular travel to engage executives across enterprise customers. You will recruit and mentor data scientists and ML engineers, coordinate with Product, Research, and GTM to drive scalable delivery and successful outcomes

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience building and leading AI/ML teams and front-facing engagements.
• Ability to scope and deliver complex enterprise AI transformations.

Responsabilités

• Lead and grow the AI Forward Deployed Engineering team, mentoring and structuring for long-term growth.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with Product, R&D, and GTM to inform roadmaps and strategy.
• Develop executive relationships with key customers and partners at VP+ level; act as trusted advisor in AI transformations.
• Partner with Field Engineering and Sales to set strategic account delivery and outcomes.
• Own OKRs for AI-services led accounts, revenue, and references; contribute to thought leadership.
